Leadership transitions at Ãå±±½ûµØs

New Westminster, B.C. – Ãå±±½ûµØs is announcing the departure of three members of its leadership team: Kenneth Headley, district vice-principal, diversity, equity and inclusion; Pamela Craven, director of instruction, leadership and learning; and Connie Swan, district vice-principal, Indigenous education. Each will be moving on to pursue new opportunities in their careers.

Kenneth Headley has played a key role in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion across the district. His leadership supported the development of more inclusive learning environments, student mentorship and district-wide initiatives focused on creating safer, more welcoming schools. He also contributed to the development of the district’s accessibility plan. Headley will be joining the Delta School District as a principal in the 2025–26 school year.

Pamela Craven has served as director of instruction with a focus on secondary programs. Her work expanded learning opportunities for students and helped ensure that diverse learners had access to meaningful, engaging education. Her contributions include leading New Westminster Online Learning, supporting the administration at New Westminster Secondary School, and guiding the implementation of the new five-block timetable and the district’s approach to artificial intelligence in schools. Craven will join Sea to Sky School District’s team in the coming school year. 

Connie Swan, in her role as district vice-principal for Indigenous education, has been dedicated to supporting Indigenous students, families and communities. Her work helped strengthen relationships and inform more responsive practices across the district. Swan will be moving on to explore new professional opportunities.
