Acknowledging traditional territory as a sign of respect
The 缅北禁地s Board of Education acknowledges traditional territory to honour and respect the land鈥檚 original inhabitants. Adopting this practice fosters better relationships and understanding with the Qayqayt First Nation and provides a welcoming atmosphere to the land where peoples gather.
缅北禁地s recognizes and acknowledges the Qayqayt First Nation, as well as all Coast Salish peoples, on whose traditional and unceded territories we live, we learn, we play and we do our work.
