New Westminster Secondary’s French Immersion program is designed for students whose first language is not French. Students follow the B.C. curriculum while learning in French, building both language skills and academic knowledge across subjects.
Students who complete French Immersion through to Grade 12 can earn a Double Dogwood Diploma (Dipl么me de fin d鈥櫭﹖udes secondaires en Colombie-Britannique).
To qualify, students must complete Fran莽ais langue seconde 10, 11 and 12, along with three additional four-credit courses taught in French, at least one of which must be at the Grade 11 or 12 level.
